Alena Veretina Quartet / Tango Underground Fiesta / La Belle Vie
Pianist Alena Veretina has pursued music through different genres: as a member of the Bon Art Pops Orchestra and the big band eMBryo, by playing jazz, classical, tango and French chanson with many great musicians, as well as performing as a soloist. On this special evening, you will have the opportunity to hear Alena´s own original compositions along with jazz standards by Dave Brubeck, Diana Krall, Avishai Cohen and Astora Piazzolla. Alena will play in several groups: the Alena Veretina Trio with special guest Ondřej Kabrna on oud, as a piano duo with Bára Hajná, as a duo with flute player Nina Sivošová, and in a band Tango Underground Fiesta with singer Zdenka Trvalcová. You will also hear the great La Belle Vie, who will play famous French songs in a gipsy swing style, and Nina Rosa, whose music is influenced by reggae, swing, jazz and folk.
