NOW vs NOW 06 12 16.jpg

In cooperation with Český rozhlas Jazz radio station we organize traditional end of the year oneday minifestival. There will perform original progressive formations again that oscillates on genres border and mixing jazz and electro and other elements of contemporary modern classical, rock, alternative and pop music. There will first perform quartet of young keyboard player Albert Romanutti named Bert & Friend that will show on our stage for the first time. They will play their rather extravagant conception of acidjazz of 21st century. Second band will be Czech-Austrian Purple is the Color. The four members of this new Quaret found themselves in autumn 2015, when they first met and soon played together. Immediately, they understood each other and it was clear, that there is a special vibe among their playing. Wisely, they find a way to reach a musical depth in their expression without losing the steadiness of a simple and catchy theme. Simon Raab - Piano, Štěpán Flagar - Sax, Martin Kocián - Bass, Michał Wierzgoń – Drums. Highlight of the evening will be performance of American Now VS Now trio, who´s core is cooperation of  wizard Jason Lindner and Greek singing bassist Panagiotis Andreou that is complemented by phenomenal drummer Justin Tyson. Their music uses electro and dance beats, as well as Indian raga and odd rhythms. Don´t miss this front NY band that is rare to see in Europe!

8.30 pm - Purple is the Color (A/CZ)

10 pm - Now vs Now  (USA)
