The band Štěpán Kolačný & Friends delivers an energetic blend of modern jazz, soul, and groove, combining masterful musicianship with an authentic expressive style. The project was initiated by Štěpán Kolačný—a respected drummer and bandleader who serves as the rhythmic driving force behind the group. On stage, he is joined by leading figures of the Czech jazz scene: Miroslav Hloucál (trumpet), Jan Aleš (keys), and Samuel Janko (bass). Each musician brings not only technical virtuosity but also a distinctive musical perspective, resulting in the band’s unique and vibrant sound. Joining them as a special guest is the outstanding vocalist Gaia Anzari.
