Bardolino is an ensemble taking its inspiration from ethnic music the world over. Its concept is enriched by elements of other genres, resulting in the creation of their unique musical language. Bardolino was brought into the world in the year 2008 by three excellent musicians - violinist Pavel Fischer, violoncellist Margit Koláčková and percussionist Camilo Caller. Today you can hear the ensemble in the following format:
Pavel Fischer - violin, voice; Jana Procházková - voice, percussion; Margit Koláčková - violoncello, voice; Jakub Jedlinský - accordion, voice; Tomáš Novák - drums, percussion.
Co-operation with other artists:
Iva Bittová, Kop Quartet, Škampa Quartet, Zdenek Merta, Jethro tull, orchestras in ČR and abroad.
Dvořák Festival, Chopin Festival, Golden Prague International Television Festival, RNCM Strings Festival, Aberystwyh festival (UK), Steirisches Kammermusikfestival (AU), Chamber Music Festival Weesp (NL), Czech Touches of Music and many others.
Our new project styled "The Seventh Heaven" offers one of the most alluring melodies of ethnic music worldwide. Each member has brought in his favorite song - his "heart's chosen" to the common programme and made his dream come true.
To this project, we have invited our friend, the percussionist Tomáš Novák.
