An exceptional meeting of three distinctive voices of contemporary jazz on one stage.
Drummer Jesse Simpson from New York, now based in Prague, and double bassist Tomáš Baroš, one of the leading figures of the Czech jazz scene, have joined forces in a project that bridges American energy with European sensitivity. As a special guest, they invited acclaimed Polish pianist and composer Piotr Wyleżoł from Kraków, one of the most respected voices of his generation. Wyleżoł is known for his unique melodic language, lyrical depth, and refined compositional approach, while Simpson brings the experience of the New York jazz scene and collaborations with some of its finest artists. Baroš’s double bass provides a strong yet sensitive and virtuosic foundation, connecting both musical worlds. Together, they create music that is vibrant, communicative, and driven by real-time interaction. This concert offers an authentic jazz dialogue.
