Formed in 2025 by husband-and-wife duo Eli Walsh (vocals, CZ) and Steve Walsh (guitar, USA), the Bohemian Soul Shakers unleash a high-energy blend of Memphis-inspired blues, soul, and funk — straight from the heart of the 1960s. Their powerful sound is driven by the band’s “Soul Shaking” rhythm section: Milan Schmidt on bass and Marcus Jurkovič on drums. Building on Steve’s decade-plus tenure with the acclaimed New York City band The Brooklyn Boogaloo Blowout, the Bohemian Soul Shakers channel that same raw groove, vintage warmth, and dynamic musicianship. Steve’s work with the group can be heard on the albums Who Burnt the Bacon? — recorded at Daptone Records with Grammy-winning producer Gabe Roth (Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings) — and Old Soul, featuring vocalist Leah Siegel. With Eli’s powerhouse vocals and Steve’s deep-rooted American groove, the Bohemian Soul Shakers light up every stage with soulful energy, vintage flair, and unforgettable live performances.
