Brown – Kalfus Bintang Family (CZ/SK/DE)

The band Brown – Kalfus Bintang Family was born in August 2017 during the Ubud Village Jazz Festival in Indonesia, where the musicians Reza Askari, Benny Brown and Petr Kalfus met as guests of the Big Band Dortmund Jazz Academy and agreed to cooperate with the aim to link the Czech and German jazz scenes. This unique combination creates a jazz avant-garde band where all members contribute their own repertoire.
