EDA and JAZZ DOCK

Non profit organization Raná péče EDA o. p. s. together with Jazz Dock organize charity concert within the 25th anniversary of EDA. Returns of ticketsale will be used for purchase of a car for EDA consultants. Entry only in specs - available at the door.

7:00 - 7:10 pm - Welcome by Jana Plodková and Petra Mžourková

7:10 - 8:00 pm - Juwana  Jenkins + Adam Mišík​  This well-known American singer delights and uplifts audiences with her unmistakable soulful, gospel-influenced voice and the “distinctive, very rich delivery” of her own original songs as well as classic hits. She’s worked with a wide array of well-respected musicians, including Music Academy award winners Ondřej Pivec and Roman Pokorný, Charlie Slavik, Jan Kořínek, Jan Martínek and Marcel Flemr. Adam Mišík  Young Czech singer and actor. He released his first album „Parfém“ in 2014. EDA and Adam met during the Czech version of the Your Face Sounds Familiar TV show  - Adam gave the money he won to our organisation.

8:00 - 8:20 pm - Introduction of the Family Organiser Calendar for 2017 

8:20 - 8:40 pm - Stand up routine by lMarek Daniel Czech actor, well-known for his performances at the HaDivadlo theatre in Brno, his roles in the films of Bohdan Sláma (Wild Bees, Something Like Happiness, The Country Teacher), Marek Najbrt (Protector, Polski film), Petr Václav (Parallel Worlds) and Vladimír Morávek (Boredom in Brno) and in also a number of TV series (Kancelář Blaník, České století, Soukromé pasti). Marek Daniel is contributing to the programme with the stand-up comedy routine we have enjoyed in the Na Stojáka series of stand-up comedy shows!

8:40 - 9:30 pm - Xavier Baumaxa Original singer-songwriter and guitarist from Litvinov. Since his debut with Fenkám (2003) he has recorded eight albums, most recently the title Pijáno (2015). Baumaxa´s songs are based on puns, parodies of different musical styles and singers, and pop-culture references. He closely collaborates with the Ukrainian poet Em Rudenko. We can find an interesting portrait of the pair of artists in Vladimír Michálek´s document “Em a ON”.

9:50 - 10:00 pm - Judging of the funniest pair of specs

10:00 - 1:00 pm - United Heads A funk band from Prague which started its career in the mid-nineties. They participated in the hip-hop compilation "Real Acid Juice" together with other Czech hip-hop legends such as WWW or PSH. From hip-hop the band moved over the years to today's dance sound based on the funky-disco scene of the seventies. The title of the biggest band´s hit „S brejlema nebo bez brejlí“ which means „With or without specs?“ became the title of our annual charity concert.
