Concept Art Orchestra

The award-winning Concept Art Orchestra is a whopping 16-piece Czech jazz big band focused on presenting new works by contemporary Czech composers. The most renowned players of the local scene perform melodic pieces spread across genres under the direction of female trumpeter/composer Štěpánka Balcarová. This concert will present both premieres, as well as older pieces by The Prague Six composers collective. Guest female singers Dorota Barová and Marta Kloučková will perform new original pieces with lyrics by Czech, Polish and Finnish authors.
