Composer Tomáš Sýkora reflects on 40 years of his life in a brand-new epic autobiographical piece. Concept Art Orchestra is a modern big band featuring some of the most prominent players on the Prague scene. With Štěpánka Balcarová acting as director and conductor, the band focuses on premiering mostly new works by the young Czech composers. It has a specific contemporary sound, coming from the tradition of Maria Schneider, Bob Brookmeyer or Ed Partyka.
