In one evening you will be able to see and hear three important figures of the Czech music scene who have made a significant contribution to the development of jazz in the Czech Republic and Czechoslovakia. Each artist will perform with their current line-up and will play an approximately 50-minute set, in which they will present their current work as well as compositions from their earlier work. Jana Koubková Quartet – Jana Koubková is the legendary Czech singer who co-created the form of 1970s Czech jazz. Emil Viklický Trio – great czech jazz pianist and composer with his trio will play his own compositions, as well as modern arrangements of jazz standards. Jiří Stivín & Co – Jiří Stivín is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who has made his mark on several decades of Czech jazz and classical music history. He has released countless albums and collaborated with many musicians from all over the world.
