Czech Jazz Workshop 2022
Modern jazz, blues, funk and gospel performed by world-renowned jazz musicians and their students.
This year we’re dedicating a few summer days to concerts by lecturers and students of the Czech Jazz Workshop. This workshop is international and its prestige is growing year by year. As part of their evening concerts, you can listen to many different groups from trios to large jazz ensembles. The ensembles are led by amazing lecturers from the Czech Republic, the USA and Europe, who will also lead the evening concerts and jam sessions:
Aubrey Johnson (USA) – voc, Andy Ninvalle (NL) – beatbox, Dan Wilkins (USA) - tenor sax, Valery Ponomarev (USA) – trumpet, Brian Fentress (USA) – gospel choir sbor, Tomáš Jochmann (SK) – piano, Cyrille Oswald (NL) – flute / tenor sax, Jakub Zomer (CZ) – piano, Jiří Neužil (CZ) – MIDI, keyboards (SW a HW), Libor Šmoldas (CZ) – jazz harmony, guitar, Jan Fečo (CZ) – bass, Gavin Skeggs (UK) – voc, Bill Warfield (USA) – big band, Ondřej Štveráček (CZ) – sax, Richard Šanda (CZ) – trombone, Rene Trossman (USA) – blues guitar, Kamil Slezák (CZ) – drums, Pavel Wlosok (CZ/USA) – jazz composition.
Admission: seated CZK 270, standing CZK 170. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.
