Drumless Quartet (CZ/SK)

This Czech-Slovakian quartet is bringing a new concept of playing without drums. The instrumental formation is unorthodox, as well, to create a new acoustic sound with Marek Kotača – tenor sax; Jiří Kotača – trumpet; Peter Palaja – guitar, and Peter Korman – contrabass. The Drumless Quartet is focused mainly on traditional jazz that is interpreted in an original way, formed by a seductive combination of new and old views on jazz.
