St. Johnny is one of the leading blues and R’n’B bands in the Czech Republic. St. Johnny 's (Jan Stehlík) founded the band after his travels in the U.S., where he fell in love with the blues. The raw timbre of St. Johnny 's voice, authentic lyrics based on St. Johnny's life and energetic rhythm section supporting his guitar will never let you down. The band has opened for blues greats such as Lurrie Bell, Charlie Mussellwhite, Paul Lamb, Gwyn Ashton, Ana Popovic and others. You can experience the band on club stages and festivals in Bohemia and abroad. In 2017, they released their new album Rollin’ & Ridin’.
Vanesa Harbek Trio (AR/MZ/JP) (blues – soul)
Blues, soul, swing, tango, jazz and rock and roll, are the styles of this talented Argentinian singer, guitar and trumpet player with a degree in Music, Teaching and Composition at UCA (Argentine Catholic University). She has a versatile and powerful voice, moving comfortably in different musical styles. She has a natural talent with the guitar, her exquisite technique and solid sound making a perfect combination for her virtuosity and quality as a performer. Vanesa played with Igor Prado, Decio Caetano, Big Gilson, David Tanganelli, Omar Coleman, Sugar Blue, Dave Riley, Linsey Alexander and Vino Louden, Antonio Vergara, BJ Stolle, Krissy Mattheus and others. She will rock the Europe Blues Train Festival 2018 with an international trio composed in Berlin – blues power from Argentina, Mozambique and Japan!
