The trio was initiated by double bassist Jaromír Honzák as a space for his dream musical world. This trio brings together three equal musical voices in a format that is intimate, imaginative, and deeply contemporary. The ensemble explores a fluid, open musical language in which presence, listening, and spontaneity are central values. As Jaromír describes it: “We want to reach for the music that is around us easily and without thinking. With every sound we try to open the channel through which it flows to us.” In this project, consonance is only one of many possibilities; what matters most is the conscious sharing of sound in the moment. The result is music that is subtle yet adventurous, lyrical yet exploratory.
