GROOVE DOCK – JAZZ TO DANCE!

Tris Kayo, veteran of London's DJ scene, will be the main star of the first spring edition of Groove Dock this year. On the podium, groove dock resident Mr. Ultrafino will also be there, as well as one of the most sought-after percussionists in the Czech Republic: Mikikonga.

Tris Kayo – Tris learnt his trade in London, playing wide variety of styles from hip hop and funk to jungle and jazz. His set could be heard in clubs in the UK, France or Monaco, where he was offered a radio show. He is a proud member of Gilles Peterson Worldwide Family and continues DJing and vinyl collecting in his Prague Relish record shop.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hip hop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Mikikonga – one of the busiest and sought-after Czech percussionists. As a member of the Champion Sound / Livě Band, he has played at many of the world’s largest dance events, such as IBE the Notorious, BOTY International, JUSTE DEBOUT, OUTBREAK Europe or SDK Europe.

GROOVE DOCK: Every second Saturday each month.

Admission: till 10:30 pm: free, after 10:30 pm: CZK 150.
