GROOVE DOCK – JAZZ TO DANCE!

Longtime matador of Czech alternative scene DJ Chochacz, resident of Groove Dock Mr. Ultrafino and the versatile musician and dancer from Gambia, Papis Nyass, will lead the jazz-jazz party at Jazz Dock in August.

DJ Chochacz – longtime matador of Czech alternative DJ scene, promoter and music connoisseur. His selection goes through the music across time and styles. He is reputed mainly for latino styles, rhythms, genres and subgenres.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experiences. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Papis Nyass – drummer, percussionist, dancer and multi-tallented musician born in Gambia. He specializes in African percussions such as conga, bonga, djembe, sabar or marimba and has been a regular co-player with such names as Lenka Dusilová, Ephraim Goldin or Alan Vitouš.

GROOVE DOCK: Every second Saturday each month.

Admission: till 10:30 pm: free, after 10:30 pm: CZK 150.
