GROOVE DOCK – JAZZ TO DANCE!

After a long time, collector of vinyl records and promoter DJ Cashmeer returns to Jazz Dock. In February, Groove Dock will join Cashmeer with our resident Mr. Ultrafino and one of the most popular percussionists in the Czech Republic: Mikikonga.

DJ Cashmeer – DJ, vinyl collector and a club promoter with almost two decades of experience. His musical journey started with liquid D‘n‘B and continued through house and electronic music towards funk, soul and disco. Cashmeer is a resident of Boogie Night, a club event focused on disco and other 70‘s and 80‘s musical genres, including jazz-funk and acid-jazz. His special jazz selection will be heard at Groove Dock.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Mikikonga – one of the busiest and demanded Czech percussionists. As a member of the Champion Sound/Livě Band played at the world’s largest dance events, such as IBE the Notorious, BOTY International, JUSTE DEBOUT, OUTBREAK Europe and SDK Europe.
