Groove Dock - Jazz To Dance!

The May edition of our dance club night will take place in the rhythm of funk. But there will also be dance jazz, soul and African rhythms – all performed by two top DJs and an experienced percussionist.

DJ Goldstar – DJ Goldstar Goldstar is a music promoter, resident of many funk and soul oriented alternative club nights and a DJ with the broadest selection of genres in his record bag. During the two decades of his musical career he stood behind the decks with DJs and musicinas from all around the world, however his passion and specialty is 60‘s and 70‘s Czech groove scene.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experiences. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Papis Nyass – drummer, percussionist, dancer and multi-tallented musician born in Gambia. He specializes in African percussions such as conga, bonga, djembe, sabar or marimba and has been a regular co-player with such names as Lenka Dusilová, Ephraim Goldin or Alan Vitouš.

Admission for sitting 450 CZK, for standing 250 CZK. It is no longer necessary to reserve a seat when purchasing a seated ticket. To reserve a specific seat, please write your request in the note when purchasing the ticket. Fulfillment of the request cannot be guaranteed.
