This night marks the 47th edition of the well-known jazz and dance event! From swing through bebop, hardbop, latin, fusion, acid jazz to contemporary club sound. Served up exclusively from vinyl records, together with live musicians. This time our resident DJ Mr. Ultrafino will be suported by DJ Goldstar and DJ Magič. On percussion, please welcome Mr. Dudu Morais!

Mr. Ultrafino

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

DJ Goldstar

Goldstar is a music promoter, resident of many funk and soul alternative club nights and a DJ with the broadest selection of genres in his record bag. During the two decades of his musical career he has stood behind the decks with DJs and musicians from all around the world. However, his passion and specialty is the Czechoslovak groove scene of the 60’s and 70’s.

DJ Magič

DJ, producer, collector and musical columnist focused on jazz, funk and Latino music in classical and modern forms. He attended DJ, dancer and collector Darell from the breakdance 2nd II None group during his stay in Great Britain. He pays tribute to his experiences in his DJ sets and original productions released limited on tapes. 

Dudu Morais

Brazilian percussion player from Rio de Janeiro. He has played in Brazil with many artists from traditional to modern music. He arrived in Prague 6 years ago with his trio, Loud Samba, and immediately started playing with the Yvonne Sanchez band, later joining the salsa orquestras on the Czech mainstream Latin world, finally getting into electronic music, playing with many DJs from Latin to funky to drum´n´bass to house.
