Guy Bennett Band

The Guy Bennett Band formed in Prague in late 2014. After years of working with top Blues artists in London, Guy relocated to Prague in 2014, putting together a killer lineup of experienced musicians from different corners of the world. Their sound fuses Soul, Funk, New Orleans and Blues. Bennett’s powerful soulful vocals and subtle keyboards, are complimented perfectly by the guitar talents of Don McClosky, Harmonica mastery from Mark Nessmith, and solid funk groves from the bass of Matt Dal Din and drums of Marian Petržela. A blend of Otis Redding, Dr John, Bill Withers, James Brown, Ray Charles, Howling Wolf and Tom Waits all comes out the other side to produce an enigmatic band with a funk all of their own.
