This is the elite group of the most sought-after and demanding musicians on the scene today. Kevin Hays, Peter Erskine, Benjamin Koppel and Scott Colley have all worked with the cream of the jazz world. This time, they've decided to refine the quartet's possibilities together. Their compositions draw on a wide range of expressions: reminiscences of legends like John Coltrane, classical composers like Charles Ives, influences from Hawaiian music or the most surprising fusion references. This "Art of The Quartet" is woven together by four virtuosos who raise interactivity and collective music to the highest level.

The American star drummer PETER ERSKINE, known from such iconic groups as "Weather Report", "Steps Ahead" and "Bass Desires", has long since entered the history books as one of the most style-creating jazz drummers. American top pianist and grammy winner KEVIN HAYS is one of the most in demand jazz pianists and one of the most virtuosic and lyrical pianists on the international stage. For almost a decade, one of the most prominent European jazz soloists, saxophonist Benjamin Koppel and the iconic American jazz bass player Scott Colley have had a long and fruitful collaboration. They were on a great tour just before Covid with Peter Erskine with this project and now they have decided to invite Kevin Hays as well. This group you just have to experience!
