Jan Kořínek — one of the best Czech Hammond organ players — will celebrate his 50th birthday with a special concert with the band Soul Hitchhikers. Get ready for an energetic and groovy performance that will get the audience moving with a combination of soul jazz, blues, and funk.

Soul Hitchhikers is an exceptional organ trio featuring Jan Kořínek on organ, Osian Roberts on tenor saxophone, and Oliver Lipenský on drums. Known for their tight interplay and dynamic sound, the band delivers energetic, funky and swinging music, combining original compositions with distinctive arrangements of selected covers. Their high-level musicianship has made them a sought-after group for collaborations with prominent projects such as Chanda Rule and Sweet Emma Band, Ashley Slater’s Heptet, Groove of Jan Kořínek, and Carol Alston and The Gospel Of The Blues. Soul Hitchhikers continue to stand out with their unmistakable sound and electrifying live performances.

The band will welcome a special guest, young guitarist Milan Angelo Novák, an emerging talent whose energetic playing and strong sense of groove bring a fresh and contemporary edge to the music.
