Stephen Keogh Trio (IR/CAN/CZ)

Stephen Keogh set trio with Canadian bassist Duncan Hopkins and Czech guitarist Libor Šmoldas and hit the tour. This outstanding drummer has cooperated with names as Brad Mehldau, Sonny Fortune, Johnny Griffin, Lee Konitz, Mark Turner, Art Farmer or Benny Golson. He followed his studies in Ireland with private lessons in London and New York. He played as percussionist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, contemporary music ensembles and many visiting jazz artists including Sonny Fortune, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Jimmy Witherspoon, Pat La Barbera, Louis Stewart and James Moody. Music of this trio promises eclectic jazz educated from the past and presenting contemporary jazz. All players are masters of their instrument so you can look forward to coruscant solos, stable rhythm and briliant instrumental performances (g,b,dr)!
