LUIZA MEIODAVILA QUARTET (BRA)

Luiza Meiodavila was born and raised in the city of São Paulo in a residential neighborhood surrounded by nature, touching her senses and translating them since an early age through music. At 19 years old Luiza began her bachelor studies at Faculdade Souza Lima & Berklee, falling in love with jazz and Brazilian music and adding this rich vocabulary to her identity. From that experience, her first album “Florescer” was born. This album highlights the dialog between Brazilian music and jazz. Alongside great musicians of the Brazilian jazz scene, Luiza showcases her soft and gentle voice going through several different rhythms.
