Joe Karafiát & Underground Blues Session

Joe Karafiát is a Czech singer, solo performer, guitarist of the Plastic People of the Universe. He is the author of the lyrics of his songs and draws inspiration from poetry by several prominent figures. In the first part of the program, during Joe's solo performance, you will hear songs that will be performed for the first time at this concert, accompanied by saxophonist Kamil Janský (from the band Laura a její tygři).Their excellent play on the electric guitar and saxophone will captivate you to the extent that you will not want to tear yourself away from listening to this compelling music. In the second part of the program, Joe will present himself with the band Underground Blues Session in collaboration with other musicians: Jan Martinek (founder of the band Žlutý pes, legend of the blues and rock school), bassist Wenca Březina (member of the band PPU), drummer Milan Panocha and their musical accompanist, saxophonist Kamil Janský. You can look forward to an unusual, great musical experience.
