As part of the Jazz of Four Continents festival, an elite piano trio composed of legends of world jazz will come to the Jazz Dock at the end of May!

Pianist Joey Calderazzo is one of the finest jazz pianists of recent decades. He has recorded thirteen full-length albums and has come a long way from child prodigy, to in-demand session musician, to elite member of the finest jazz ensembles. He has accompanied musical geniuses from Michael Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Jack DeJohnette, Dave Holland and more. Bassist John Patitucci has won two Grammy Awards during his career and has been nominated for more than fifteen. He is especially famous for his work in Chick Corea's Electric Band and Wayne Shorter's quartet. He has released numerous albums of his own and collaborated with some of the biggest names on the world music scene, including Victor Feldman, Natalie Cole, Herbie Hancock, Frank Gambale, Gary Burton, Al Di Meola, Eric Marienthal, Danilo Pérez, Lee Ritenour, Henry Mancini, Dave Grusin, Peter Erskine and Vinnie Colaiuta. Dave Weckl is considered one of the most influential and technically proficient jazz and fusion drummers of all time. He boasts collaborations with numerous artists including George Benson, Chick Corea, Paul Simon and many others. His virtuoso playing style has influenced several generations of jazz drummers!  Together, these three giants of world jazz will play an energetic concert full of sparkling improvisation. The repertoire will include their own compositions and original adaptations of jazz standards.
