Julius Baroš Quintet
Julius Baroš is a Czech trumpet player with a long musical career. This combo, comprising three generations, is inspired by the jazz of the fifties and sixties. The leader, Julius Baroš, is renowned for his work with, among others, Laco Deczi and Štěpán Markovič in ESP. He has played in many Prague big bands and was a long-term member of the Film Symphony Orchestra. The youngest generation is represented by a leading talent of the Czech jazz scene, bass player Tomáš “Kaštan” Baroš.
