Kristina and Martina Bárta belong to a new generation of Czech musical talents aspiring to an international musical career. They are currently preparing a new album. In this concert they will present original compositions and arrangements of well-known songs across of jazz, pop and soul genres.

Martina Bárta is a young, multitalented Czech singer and musician born in Prague, based in Berlin and performing with diverse music projects at national and international music festivals and music venues worldwide. In 2017, Martina represented her homeland, the Czech Republic, with the song “My Turn” at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Martina regularly collaborates with Big Band der Deutschen Oper Berlin and Big Band of Felix Slováček in her home country. She is currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Kristina Bárta is an internationally renowned composer and pianist. After studying classical music and composition at the Prague Conservatory this native Czech pianist graduated from the Academy of Music Arts in Prague, specializing in jazz piano. Kristina is constantly touring and she has played at the most well-known venues, including Strasbourg's Jazzdor (Fra), D'Jazz Nevers (Fra), A Trane (Ger), Radio France (Fra) and others. At the beginning of 2021, she released her 2nd album with the Austrian music label Alessa Records with the title "Love and Passion". In the spring of 2021, Kristina Bárta represented the Czech Republic at the Jazzahead world trade fair in Bremen. In 2016, Kristina & Martina Bárta won the 1st prize for the best jazz composition of the year: “Find Peace of Mind”.
