An original project by pianist and composer Marek Novotný, uniquely bridging the world of chamber classical music and modern jazz. His melodically rich and harmonically sophisticated writing delivers inventive, technically precise music that remains accessible, emotionally engaging, and deeply communicative. At the forefront of the string quartet stands violinist Marie Hasoňová—an outstanding performer and one of the leading Czech violinists of her generation. The rhythm section features Marek Novotný (piano), Bergur Johansson (double bass), and Tomáš Hobzek (drums). The project brings a unique fusion of classical and jazz aesthetics to the Czech scene—progressive, yet not experimental. Music with soul, momentum, and a language of its own.
