Michael Krásný is a singer, bassist and producer, and the long-time house bassist of jazz legend Laco Deczi (Celula New York). After moving to New York, he collaborated with leading musicians from around the world, including Peter Cincotti, and performed on club and festival stages across the globe. His energetic live performance combines jazz, funk, soul, R&B and Latin American rhythms. The music is created directly on stage—in the moment and without pretence, with a strong emphasis on spontaneity and sound. Approximately half of the concert consists of original compositions, while the other half features distinctive arrangements of well-known jazz and pop songs, giving them a new shape and plenty of room for improvisation.

On his latest, highly acclaimed vocal jazz album “20:20,” Michael joined forces with a number of renowned artists, including drummer Jeremy Gaddie (Hiram Bullock, Alicia Keys, Richard Bona, Backstreet Boys, etc.), outstanding pianist Shedrick Mitchell (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride, …), and the amazing drummer Joe Nero. Michael met Joe Nero in Peter Cincotti’s backing band during their tour of Europe and Africa in 2019. Come and enjoy jazz music performed by Michael Krásný and his band.
