The band Muff has long operated outside the mainstream and easily identifiable styles. Their music emerges from the tension between order and chaos, between firmly grounded groove and open space for improvisation. Jazz, rock, electronics, and psychedelic moods intertwine in Muff’s sound naturally, without any need for explanation—as parts of a single, coherent musical language. Muff’s music is built on strong motifs, repetition, and the gradual layering of details. The compositions unfold like living organisms—at times driven by uncompromising energy, at others sinking into hypnotic textures and open improvisation. The band plays with contrasts: precisely constructed passages alternate with moments of complete freedom, dense rhythms dissolve into lyrical sections.

The five seasoned musicians draw on long-standing musical chemistry as well as the courage to take risks. Every concert is an original, created here and now, in direct contact with the audience. Muff do not play “songs”—they create flows, tensions, and atmospheres that listeners can immerse themselves in. Live, the band confirms its reputation as one of the most energetic and open-minded projects on the domestic scene. The concert will offer a cross-section of their work across albums, as well as transformed versions of older compositions that never remain the same.
