Jazz On The Roof

We’re bringing you a special series of open air summer concerts on the roof of the Jazz Dock! Every Saturday in the afternoon.

The concert will feature a unique musical collaboration between Czech and Israeli musicians and will also mark the beginning of a new international partnership. The evening will blend jazz, Brazilian music, Jewish musical influences, and spontaneous improvisation. Petra Ernyei has devoted many years to jazz and swing, performing with groups such as OPSO P. Klikara and the Prague Swing Orchestra. She also founded the Petra Ernyei Quartet, whose distinctive sound is captured on the album !So Many Stars!. In her current work, she blends jazz and Jewish roots. Together with guitarist Adam Tvrdý and bassist Petr Dvorský, she recorded the album To jsem já as a tribute to Jewish composers. In addition to her concert activities, she is involved in concert production and teaching, and is the founder of the Noc zpěvaček festival.

Mattan Klein

Mattan Klein is an Israeli flutist, composer and improviser known for his distinctive fusion of jazz, Brazilian music and Middle Eastern musical traditions. His playing is characterized by strong melodic expression, virtuosity and spontaneous improvisation. He has performed at major jazz festivals around the world and collaborated with numerous international musicians.

Ezequiel Hezi Jait

Ezequiel Hezi Jait is a guitarist, composer and arranger whose work draws primarily from Brazilian music, jazz and Latin American rhythms. His playing combines sensitivity, rhythmic precision and rich harmonic language. Alongside his concert activity, he is also dedicated to original compositions and international musical collaborations.

Admission: Seated tickets: 300 CZK in advance, 350 CZK at the door. Reclining chair tickets: 250 CZK in advance, 300 CZK at the door. Specific seats cannot be reserved for this concert. Club discounts do not apply to this concert. Thank you for your understanding.
