The Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra

Friday 04/06/2021 from 21:00

The Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra is a Czech professional ensemble focused on 1920's American jazz, blues and hot dance music. It is considered to be one of the most stylistically pure and artistically convincing ensembles of its kind. Thanks to the use of historical instruments, forgotten playing techniques and sophisticated arrangements, the sound of the orchestra is both uniquely authentic and original at the same time. The orchestra was found in 1974 by Pavel Klikar - trumpet player, piano player, musicologist & expert in this genre.

Jan Pospíšil – sax, cl; Vojtěch Pospíšil – sax, cl; Michael Chomiszak – trp; Matěj Šmíd – trb, voc; Antonín Dlapa – banjo, g; Tomáš Mika – banjo; Pavel Jurečka – b, suzafone; Jiří Gilík – p.

Anyone who buys a ticket for a concert also honestly declares that they have been vaccinated, tested negative for antigen or PCR, or that they have had Covid-19 and recovered at least 90 days prior to entry.
