Tomáš Hobzek Quartet

The band was formed by drummer and composer Tomáš Hobzek just after finishing his studies at VOŠ at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. The music of this quartet has crystalized into an energetic and dynamic position, supported by free improvisation, leading to avant-garde solos. During the concert the audience is literally drawn into the action of improvisation where unique musical moments are created on the stage. The repertoire is entirely original and all members contribute to it. The band has recorded two albums, both released by Animal Music: Stick It Out and Supernatural Phenomena. At this upcoming concert, they will focus on music from Supernatural Phenomena.
