Tomáš Liška & Invisible World - the release concert of the new album “Holy Grail”
“The Invisible World” by Tomáš Liška is a truly unique outcry in Czech music, earning praise from all over the world. Beyond the virtuoso performances of each member, the band is valued for its exceptionally distinctive expression and its sensitive fusion of original music, jazz, and above all world music. It brings together musicians from Turkey, Serbia, Bohemia, and Moravia, and in its original approach tastefully reflects the diversity of cultural influences. The group performs on many stages across Europe, Africa, and Japan. As the first Czech band in history, they succeeded in the official selection of the world’s largest World Music conference, WOMEX 2018. All of their released albums have received nominations for the Anděl Awards and other distinctions (Czech Radio, Tais Awards, Ostrava Music Crossroads, etc.). With their album Hope, the band won the Anděl Award for Best Jazz Album of the Year. They now return with a brand-new record, Holy Grail, which will be christened at their concert in Jazz Dock.
