Tomáš Víšek - Jazz Goes To Classic
Jazz (almost immediately after its rise) influenced a lot of classical composers, too. It appears till today - although the huge explosion in 20ties of 20th century is probably unrepeatable. Let´s listen to some samples from this epoque - natural rhythmization by Milhaud, more complicated syncopation by Stravinsky and Martinů and finally Gershwin in his own arrangements of his songs. We may play them with typical jazz improvisation (like himself), but also playing "note-by-note" may be "infectional" by itself...
