Young blood of the local jazz
Trio Henya is a long-term project of pianist Miloš Kunc and drummer Petr Balhar, with Luan Gonçalves (BR) on double bass. The group’s music evolves from old and contemporary jazz, classical music, the avantgarde and various influences from non-european musical cultures. The starting point for concerts is free improvisation interwoven with compositions, which thanks to the vast musical palette of the Trio creates a unique experience each concert. Their music is lively and subtle, playful and intense, loud and silent. Their EP Handmade Halo Headpiece Gothic Lolita Virgin Mary Goddess Sun Baroque Pearl Gold Halo Crown Headband Party Hair Accessories is available on all streaming platforms after a streamed concert at the Czech National Radio in the winter of 2022.
