The trio was initiated by Jaromír Honzák as a space for a somewhat different musical world than the one he enters with his quintet. “We want to reach out lightly and without overthinking for the music that is so abundantly all around us. With every sound, we try to open a channel through which it flows to us.” The trio consists of three equal voices whose task is not to always be in agreement. Consonance is only one of many possibilities; conscious presence in the given moment is more valuable.
