As part of this year's Vocal Days festival, we have prepared a unique evening for you, a show of Czech and Slovak singers working on the Prague jazz scene. In a single festival concert, six female music personalities will perform, accompanied by top musicians: pianist Ondřej Kabrna, guitarist Adam Tvrdý, double bassist Tomáš Liška and drummer Daniel Šoltis. The repertoire will include jazz standards, as well as original songs. We will hear jazz, blues, Latin jazz and chanson, all in new sets and arrangements that were created especially for this evening. Czechoslovak Vocal Day also refers to the important role of the singer Jana Koubková, who founded Vokalíza - a regular meeting of jazz, blues and rock singers and groups, which took place in Prague from 1981-2000. There will also be a singing workshop in the afternoon, led by singers Marta Kloučková and Petra Ernyei, which may result in a singing performance as part of the evening concert.
